New Industrial Prints

Last weekend I went with my husband to junk yard. He was looking for some parts to salvage. I went with my camera, as always.

This time decided to test my youngest lens, little Nikkor 35mm f/1.8. I know, it’s not dedicated macro lens, not as sharp as one, but it’s fast and focuses well, and gives me more angle of view, when space gets tight- so for example, right when I am trying to stick my camera, lens and my head under the hood of old, sometimes badly damaged car.
Anyway- every lens has it’s purpose and it all depends from your shooting style which one you like to use and which gives you what you are looking for.
I like my 35mm. I think I like it for it’s f/1.8 the most- I love playing with DOF.

So here I am presenting just few of the photographs taken.

Some of these have been already listed in my Etsy store1000markets store and Zenfolio. . More to come soon- so, please check  regularly!

Please, let me know, what you think?

  2. I really like these photos. Sort of industrial portraits. I also like that you chose to make them black and white. It enhances the drama and feel of the objects. I have a 50mm f1.8 and I love the DOF. Thanks for sharing :)
