Memories of Last Week.

Last week I had taken some vacation time from my day job. And really enjoyed it!
If you are waiting now for story and photographs of sunny beach, clear, bright blue water and me in a hammock- well- surprise! Nothing like this is coming.

Creek

My last week, the vacation week I have spent assisting my friend, fine art photographer, J.P. Corr III (check out his website here: www.jpcoriii.com ). J.P. scheduled a week long shoot as a project of continuation of one of his fine ar series: Gilded Nudes. To see two previous parts of that series- again I invite you to visit J.P.’s  site.

That week of assisting J.P. has been amazing experience for me. In many ways. Of course- photographic in the way, where I learned by observing, by helping, by setting up.
We shot at gorgeous location- hard to imagine magic place, so divine and seemed very untouched. Beautiful little forest, with wildlife,  nice pond (and alligator!) and little creek.
Aside from that- watching J.P., who has been challenged by his health condition, trying to reach the goal, trying to follow pretty tight schedule and fight pain… That hurt.  There were moments, when I hoped to be a magic fairy,that can help with what hurts, repair whats broken. I can only imagine how hard it is for J.P. himself… everyday.

Gilded Nuded will be available to see and also presented in couple of galleries in the country in the fall. I will try to keep the updates coming, when it gets closer to that time.

   Both photos are great, each with her own mood and feeling. I love the first one, the sun makes it look kind of optimistic somehow. Very nicely done :)
