Escape from the city.

What can I say? Sometimes city noises, smells, feelings etc. want you to escape. Even if just for a day!

That’s what I did. My husband and I were invited by our friend to his beautiful lake house in Kerr Lake area. So quiet and peaceful. Didn’t want to go back home!
Really enjoyed the stay and the opportunity for some nice photographs!

This trip inspired me also to create my new series- Long Grass Series. Few photographs from this collection have been posted to my 1000markets store and Etsy store. Please, check those often for more pieces to come!

Aside from new series- here are few snapshots from the trip.

Curious Bee...

This little bee flew in when I was photographing the flower. Even though busy with her task, she made for great model!

Ok, he (or maybe she- I have no idea!) did not want to sit still for a moment! I was chasing him (or her?) for close to an hour!!!

Well, I think he though he can hide and go unnoticed. Not with my macro lens! Love his colors

I think he wanted to be photographed! Flew in on the scene and stared to pose on this little stem.
