Curved Perspective

Just as I mentioned few days ago- I have decided to rent a fisheye lens to experiment with it a little bit, try something new and see how much I will like it.  I haven’t had opportunity before to shoot with so extreme wide angle lens. I am used to something rather around 24-70 mm range. Honestly- my most used lens for some time now- and most favorite- is my 50mm f/1.4. For what I shoot it works great, depth of field is so beautiful, that every time I take photo with f-stop around 1.4-2.8 I have to stop and enjoy it!
The lens of y choice was Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 (got to love fast lenses!!!). The biggest challenge for me was to get used to focusing distance and angle of view!  I could get so close or was getting so much in the frame! Every look through the viewfinder was like a big surprise!  Lot’s of fun!!!

So here- that’s it for talking. Here are some photographs:

  1. I love a fisheye lens. I bought a 35mm lomo fisheye camera at Urban Outfitters and I love it. My favorite of these is the Oakwood Cemetery. Love the shadows, light and that cool blue floor. Nice work :)
