Item of the day- selected prints at special value!
Last night, while browsing through Etsy forum I have come across this promotional thread for the Item of The Day.
The idea is very simple- The Item of The Day is selected and announced as such at 11pm EST. The sale lasts for 24hrs, until the next day 11pm EST.
Item of the day has to be listed in shop announcements and also added to the forum thread, where admins create a list with all items being promoted on certain date.
I think it’s really nice idea! So I decided to join!
My promos might be different from day to day. And I will keep updated information about current item of the day in the right hand side menu, including the preview of print on sale, as well as detailed information, what is the special for that specific photograph.
Stay tuned!
Current item of the day: The Guardian Angel.
8×12 print
Regularly: $28.00
Currently: $14.00 (until 11pm EST 7.11.2010)
Fine Print:
This promotion is valid only in my Etsy store.
All prices will adjusted for correct, discounted rate the moment of announcement of the sale.

Miss and Match- fPOE- Comedy
Another week of Miss & Match from Female Photographers!
I admit- I skipped couple of weeks, but they are all posted on the main website for the project, which can be always visited and all great submission are posted there weekly!
Last week the theme I was chosen for was Comedy.
And I got the pleasure of working on our diptych with Laura Evans again!
Her work is so inspiring!
It was a little bit challenging theme for me. I had few ideas, but it seemed hard to get them to the point where I can capture it for the project.
At first I was thinking about some kind of theatrical representation. And than consider something lighter and more casual.
Each photo submitted into Miss & Match should be new, not published before- which of course makes us work harder and wake up the creative process!

Lucky Friday!
Friday just started great for me- and I wanted to share this with all of you!
My print from Long Grass Series is included in Etsy treasury, which was chosen for Front Page this morning!
The lucky print:
Very Beautiful Wildflower
Queen Anne’s Lace may be just a simple wildflower growing on the side of the road-but it’s beautiful one. With very sophisticated shape, beautiful delicate flowers and soft color.
This plant inspired my Long Grass Series!
And it looks like I am not the only one appreciating the beauty of wildflower!

Feeling Loved on Etsy
For last week or maybe a little bit longer I feel very loved, or maybe- I should say that my work is getting a lot of hearts and amazing treasuries exposure on Etsy. And I am so thankful for all that! I don’t know even where to start, and who to list first and send my thanks to them!
I will start with my new team.
Just recently I have stumbled upon Polish team on Etsy. I have searched before, but with no success and about week ago I had noticed one of the forum threads on Etsy marked as PolEtsy team something something.
Exciting, I though- and just went in and said hi. All members are so super nice and, well, I have to say- don’t let that thread get buried under newer ones! I am not able to keep up with all posts that how much is going on in there
PolEtsians are talented handmade artists and very talented etsy treasury creators! I am showing proof of that below!
Last week treasury created by DreamsFactory (from PolEtsy- and she is amazing at creating treasuries!) landed on the front page of Etsy. Those, who use Etsy know, that means much more exposure and visits to the store, than when you are buried under thousands of other listings!
There are some other treasuries I would like to invite you to see.
“Feel The Summer” by DreamsFactory
“Chocolate Anyone?” by allieart4children
“Trees and Leaves” by bprdesigns
And on top of hese gorgeous treasuries- my Magnolia’s Secret has been featured on blog owned by talented photographer from Etsy, Steve of PhotoGrunt Etsy store. You can visit his blog HERE to see work of other featured artists from Etsy!
Below- slide show with treasuries listed above!
